 Job - Finance/Administration manager. (HEKS EPER)

Finance/Administration manager.

The representative of HEKS-EPER organization to the Azerbaijan Republic will start on behalf of Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Azerbaijan project: Development of Agriculture and Rural economics in Sheki-Zakatala and Ganja-Gazakh economical regions.
In frame of the project the HEKS-EPER Azerbaijan is pleased to announce opening for position of Finance/Administration Manager.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Finance

  • Maintain an office financial system in accordance with EU and HEKS-EPER policies and procedures.
  • Calculate and organize salary payments.
  • Provide bank statements of all bank accounts to Country director on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare financial reports for donor.
  • Fulfill all requirements of TAX inspection and Azerbaijan government.
  • Ensure preparation of documentation for the audit.

Partner

  • Conduct on-sight financial monitoring of PO on a regular basis. Analyze the information in the PO record keeping and reporting system and report key findings to Team Leader.
  • Produce Financial Monitoring report and list of recommendations to be sent to the partner.
  • Provide on-going technical assistance to the PO in the development of effective and reliable financial management systems.
  • Whenever necessary and requested by Country director, provide finance and compliance training to partner.
  • Ensure that Audit of PO are conducted according the EU and HEKS-EPER requirements.

 

Administration and programme

  • Maintain an appropriate filing system for the project to accommodate all aspects of the HEKS-EPER work.
  • Ensure the proper use and maintenance of project equipment and office supplies, bringing any problems to the attention of the project Team Leader.
  • Ensure that HEKS-EPER capital asset inventory information is recorded.
  • Support on sight monitoring visits.

The employee may be asked to perform duties and task not covered in this job description as well as to provide support to other areas when necessary

Profile

  • Degree in finance or a related field
  • Experience in a similar position, experience in an international or local development organization.
  • Is able to handle multiple tasks.
  •  Is a team player with a positive "can do" attitude.

 

Job location: Ganja,
Gross Salary is 800 EURO.
