An international development program that contributes to strengthening citizen engagement in socio-economic development at the regional level in Azerbaijan is seeking candidates for the positions of Monitoring and Evaluation and Public Outreach (MEPO) Specialist.

Monitoring and Evaluation and Public Outreach (MEPO) Specialist  

 

Responsibilities and Tasks

 

Monitoring and Evaluation and Public Outreach (MEPO) Specialist will be responsible for the successful and timely implementation of the project’s monitoring and evaluations activities and Public Outreach Strategy. MEPO Specialist will use his technical skills, education, experience, and country knowledge to accomplish different tasks, including, but not limited to:

  • Ensure efficient implementation of project’s Performance Monitoring Plan, including annual reviews and potential improvements of the plan;
  • Ensure appropriate, accurate, and timely and efficient collection of all M&E data;
  • Prepare project’s M&E quarterly and annual report with input by the staff;
  • Provide hands-on technical assistance to the project  staff on M&E tools and PMP, including conducting data verification activities;   
  • Collaborate with other USAID programs, representatives and different stakeholders on relevant M&E activities;
  • Prepare project’s promotional materials, including leaflets, fact sheets, and success stories;
  • Prepare and maintain a folder with all  public outreach templates;
  • Take pictures at project  public events and maintain project’s photography archive;
  • Monitor media and maintain project’s media monitoring archive, inclusive of all media coverage of project activities;
  • Ensure that all project  public documents comply with USAID rules on branding and marking, as per the approved project Marking and Branding Plan;

 

Desired qualifications:

 

  • University degree in political science, economics, social science, or other related fields
  • Five or more years professional work experience in nonprofit sector, media, or international organizations;
  • At least three years of experience in monitoring projects and public outreach;
  • Very well organized and detail oriented;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Impeccable professional and personal integrity;
  • Fluent in written and oral Azerbaijani and English languages.
