Dear Prospective Contractor,

 

1.0 The U.S. Embassy requires the purchase of 6 (six) small commercial cargo vehicles delivered to the US Embassy of Baku, Azerbaijan.  The contractor will supply specified products according to the requirements and deadlines listed below.

 

2.0 PRODUCT REQUIREMENTS

 

2.1       Provide six (6) small commercial cargo vehicles

4. Vehicles must measure approximately 170-190” (4.31-4.83 m) long
5. Vehicles must measure below 85” (2.16 m) tall
6. All vehicles will have a one year warranty.
7. Manufacturer must have authorized service provider in Baku.

2.2       Vehicles must feature:

1. 1.5 liter or larger engines, diesel or gas (petrol) powered
2. 140 horse power (or greater)
3. Three front seats
4. Automatic transmission
5. Backup camera OR rear parking sensors
6. Lighting in cargo area
7. Roof Rails (for ladders)
8. Automatic locks with lock/unlock feature on key
9. Three keys per vehicle
10. Air Conditioning (passenger area only)
11. Full partition between passenger and cargo areas
12. No windows in the cargo area
13. Safety Features:
14. ABS braking
15. Driver and passenger airbag

iii.        Seat belts for all three seats

 

3.0       PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE

 

3.1       The supplies shall be delivered no more than 12 (months) after notification of issuance of an order. Deliveries will only be accepted on Embassy business days only unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer’s Representative.

4.0       COLOR

4.1 White or Silver

 

The vehicles must be brand new;

 

The delivery point is CIF Baku;

 

If you have required vehicles in your stock, please provide a quote accordingly. A Georgian Contractor shall include delivery cost to Baku Customs Terminal.

 

The dealer must have a service center in Baku, Azerbaijan capable of doing maintenance and repair on the vehicles as well as providing the U.S. Embassy Baku with spare parts.

 

The U.S. Embassy Baku may cancel the RFQ or any part of it;

 

You are encouraged to make your quotation competitive. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote;

 

The U.S. Embassy Baku reserves the right to reject quotes that are unreasonably low or high in price;

 

The U.S. Embassy Baku intends to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so;

• Vehicle cost;
• Transportation cost if applicable;
• Warranty cost and warranty terms and conditions if applicable;
• Vehicle delivery period (number of days or months).
