SOS Children's Villages Azerbaijan Association was founded in 1999 according to the agreement signed between SOS Children’s Village International and Azerbaijan government. The main purpose of the organization is to provide family-like care to the children deprived from parental care as well as to implement different activities that are aimed to provide children the social welfare. Currently number of social and educational projects are successfully being implemented within SOS Children's Village Baku and Ganja branches.

 

SOS Children’s Villages Azerbaijan is implementing Child Protection Policy based on UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

TRAINER

for

Youth participation and employability project

 

The project aims to support young people who have lost parental care or are at risk of losing it, on their journey to decent work and independent life, as well as streghten youth employability, soft and hards skills. The training sessions will also encourage young people in developing their leadership skills and their capacity to positively impact the lives of others.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key performance areas and main responsibilities:

Conducting face-to-face trainings on the following topics:  Communication skills training + video recording  Leadership skills + video recording Motivation + video recording  Research methodology Facilitation

Video recording for 20 minutes on the following topics: Module 1 Identifying your goals (How well do you understand your skills and strengths? Which personal areas could you work on to achieve your goals?  Module 2 Your Life and Work Experience (Build networks of people you know, Benefits of volunteering and ways to find programs)  Module 3 Meeting with HR (Your CV, Why HR managers ask you tricky questions and how to react them) Module 4 Your Career (Understand different types of careers and employers, Plan YOUR career goals)  Module 5 Financial skills Module 6 Entrepreneurship (Local reality businesses, legal, financial, economical knowledge to start a business)

Careful preparation of the training‘s and lecture‘s program All trainings and video recordings will be conducted in Azerbaijany language

 

YOUR PROFILE:

• Background as a professional trainer, coach and specialist in employability and life/work skills
• Ability to convey material, ideas to the audience
• Previous experience of conducting trainings for vulnerable focus group;
• Previous experience with offline and online trainings 
• Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills;
• Fluent Azeri, 
• Strong inter-personal skills;
• Creativity;
• Leadership 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• 2 days full time of offline trainings 10.00-18.00
• 1 day for video recording 
• Location: Baku city 
• The remuneration will be discussed with short listed candidates
