"SOS Children's Villages - Azerbaijan" Association was founded in 1999 according to agreement signed between "SOS Kinderdorf" INGO and Azerbaijan government. The main purpose of the organization is providing family based care to the children deprived from parental care as well as implementation of different activities aimed to provide children social welfare. Currently a number of social and educational projects successfully have being implemented within Baku and Ganja SOS Children's Villages and Family Support Program.
“SOS Children’s Villages – Azerbaijan” has been implementing Child Protection Policy based on UN Convention on Child Rights.
Fundraiser Position
Main tasks and responsibilities
- To meet potential donors and sponsors and to develop contacts with them.
- To reach annual financial target.
- To conduct different fundraising activities to draw potential sponsors and donors.
- To develop fundraising business plan and budget.
- To ensure SOS brand
- To evaluate and monitor fundraising activities in the projects
- To analyze and improve fundraising tools
- To develop FR campaigns database (donations, sponsors, thank you letter and etc.)
- To ensure long term relations with donors
- To conduct fundraising market research
Minimum knowledge, experience and skills
- Higher education in business administration, marketing, economics and fundraising
- 3 year experience in Fundraising, marketing and sale
- Ability to evaluate fundraising opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Presentation skills
- Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, analysis and evaluation
- Result orientation
- Readiness for long term cooperation
- Excellent knowledge of English and Azeri (verbal and written)
- MS Office, Power Point knowledge
- Readiness to business travel (internal and abroad)
- Meeting deadlines
Additional skills
- Experience in sponsorship work
- Experience in NGO field
- Contacts in business, advertisement and media
