Fundraising & Marketing specialist

"SOS Children's Villages-Azerbaijan" Association was established in 1999. The core objective of the Association is providing a family-based care to the children deprived of parental care as well as different types of social services to the children under risk of abandonment. At the moment the Association runs 2 Children's Villages in Baku and Ganja and a number of social projects.

"SOS Children's Villages-Azerbaijan" is looking for a suitable candidate to the position of Fundraising & Marketing specialist on the full time employment basis.

Responsibilities
" To organize fundraising activities in order to attract sponsors and donors
" To draft FR budget
" To promote SOS brand
" To make regular marketing researches
" To draft project proposals
" To monitor and evaluate fundraising activities in the projects
" To provide the line managers with fundraising trainings

Minimum qualifications, experience and skills

" University degree in business administration, marketing, economy or fundraising
" A proven track record of at least 3 years in fundraising, marketing or sales
" Feeling comfortable with asking directly for money support
" Ability to identify and take advantage of fundraising opportunities
" Excellent oral and written communication skills
" Representation skills
" Strong result-orientation combined with a proven competence in strategic planning, budgeting, analysis and evaluation
" Strong commitment and readiness to long-term cooperation
" Advanced level of Azeri and English - written and spoken
" Good MS Office skills, in particular in Power Point Program
" Ability to travel within country and abroad

Preferred additional criteria

" Experience in sponsorship work
" Experience in NGO sector
" Contacts with business, advertisement, promotion and media circles
" Ability to meet deadlines
" Feeling for design and layout
" Good contacts with media
