Qualifications and skills
Material Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer-Materials (1 position, 22 pm)
Material Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer-Materials shall have the following qualifications:
Bachelor or higher degree in engineering;
Preferably minimum 5 years of relevant experience in projects in power sector; and
laboratory and field-testing for high voltage materials, components, and equipment to IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards as part of a quality assurance process.
Previous experience in international financed projects in Azerbaijan is an advantage. The knowledge of Azerbaijani language is an advantage.
The expert will undertake:
Inspections of materials, components, and equipment
Verification of manufacturers test reports for materials, components, and equipment
Undertake tests on materials, components, and equipment as directed by the Resident Engineer
Ensure that the materials, components and equipment are complying to the standards prescribed
Prepare and submit reports on testing of materials, components, and equipment.
