Qualifications and skills

 

Material Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer-Materials (1 position, 22 pm)

Material Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer-Materials shall have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor or higher degree in engineering;
• Preferably minimum 5 years of relevant experience in projects in power sector; and
• laboratory and field-testing for high voltage materials, components, and equipment to IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standards as part of a quality assurance process.
• Previous experience in international financed projects in Azerbaijan is an advantage. The knowledge of Azerbaijani language is an advantage.

 

The expert will undertake:

• Inspections of materials, components, and equipment
• Verification of manufacturers test reports for materials, components, and equipment
• Undertake tests on materials, components, and equipment as directed by the Resident Engineer
• Ensure that the materials, components and equipment are complying to the standards prescribed
• Prepare and submit reports on testing of materials, components, and equipment.
