Qualifications and skills

Engineering degree or equivalent qualification and with preferably 8 or more years professional experience in the field of solid waste management, with comprehensive experience of similar assignments in Eastern Europe or the Caucasus region. He/she should demonstrate experience in the planning and design of waste collection/transportation systems, waste treatment plants (mechanical-biological treatment and material recovery facilities) and sanitary landfills and closure/remediation/capping of old dumpsites. In addition, the expert should demonstrate experience in assessing recyclable and RDF markets and with procedures of IFIs (preferably EBRD procedures).
