Qualifications and skills
- preferably 10 years of previous professional experience in the development of technical specifications, procurement and acceptance of solid waste vehicles and equipment.;
- experience in development of technical specifications and participation in procurement processes is mandatory;
- experience of working in IFI funded solid waste management projects would be an asset;
- good command of English language;
Role in the assignment:
The AE’s main responsibilities will be:
- development of technical specifications for all vehicles and equipment included in tenders #1&2 as provided in the PP;
- evaluation of technical proposals submitted by the tenderers;
- provision of expert advice and technical knowledge to the procurement expert and PM throughout the project implementation;
- Supervision of delivery of goods and their inspection and approval upon receipt by the Client.
