Vacancy: Key Expert - Institutional Development and Capacity-Building Expert

Qualifications and skills

• University degree in Education, Vocational Education and Training, Public Policy, Human Capital Development, Social Sciences, Business Administration, or in its absence, a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field mentioned above additional to the required general professional experience in the education sector;
• Excellent spoken and written English
• An asset: working knowledge of Azerbaijani, Turkish or Russian.

General professional experience

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in institutional development and capacity-building in the education sector;
• At least 660 working days of working experience in the development and/or implementation of education sector reforms and/or education policies;
• An asset: Working experience with Education Data Collection and Management system.

Specific professional experience:

• Working experience in implementing at least 2 projects in students learning assessment in the past 8 years18;
• Working experience in implementing at least 2 projects in curriculum development and/or curriculum frameworks in the past 8 years18;
• At least 200 working days of working experience in organising and implementing teachers training;
• An asset: Experience with tools and instruments for monitoring and evaluation of training programmes.
