VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The International Committee of the Red Cross Delegation in Azerbaijan is seeking candidates, male or female, for the position of:

Psychosocial Field Officer

based in Baku

RESPONSIBILITIES

" Supports the psychosocial delegate in the implementation of the psychosocial program for the families of missing
" Conducts interviews, together or alone, with families of the missing when requested
" Under supervision of the psycho-social delegate, advises other team members or interlocutors regarding the implementation of the designed psychosocial strategy
" Under the supervision of the psychosocial delegate maintains and expands a network of interlocutors, with the aim to further develop the referral in favour of the families of the missing.
" Contributes to the establishment of documents related to the support provided to the families of missing, together with the psychosocial delegate
" Interprets with accuracy in any situation and translates documents from English to National language and vice versa
" Ensures confidentiality of management of the information

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

" University Degree
" Outstanding communication skills
" Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
" Very good computer literacy
" Good rigor, method and analytical skills
" Ability to carry out tasks independently
" Good knowledge of the political, social and cultural assigned environment

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
" 4 years work experience in a similar field of activity
" University degree in Psychology or related field
